Serpent & Dove - Applied Magnetics coined the name ‘Welders Magnetic Squares’ in 1984 to describe a welders magnetic clamp that had the approximate proportions of an engineer’s square. View blow up		The patented Welders Magnetic Earth Clamp offers a better way of grounding than conventional earthing clamps - and is ideal for inside tanks and vessels where no clamping edge exists.       View blow up Magnetic Earth or Ground Clamp for small jobs The patented Welders Magnetic Earth Clamp has been a best-selling product of Serpent & Dove - Applied Magnetics for many years. Its only limitation has been that its diameter at 88 mm can occasionally make it unsuitable for smaller jobs. So now we’ve introduced the patented Mini-Grip Magnetic Earth Clamp, capable of clamping to narrow surfaces and edges but still offering 800 amp current-carrying capacity when the spring-loaded copper electrode is in full-face contact with the surface. Using a neodymium rare earth pot magnet, the magnetic earth clamp grips on 3 mm steel with in excess of 25 kgs of force but is easily removed with the simple lever-release handle.              View blow up Welding Clamp is Magnetic, Switchable and Adjustable Magnetic welding clamps are used to secure steel work-pieces during welding. Now Serpent & Dove - Applied Magnetics Pty Ltd has extended its range of magnetic clamps with the addition of the Easy-Set Welders Magnetic Clamp. This innovative product employs switchable magnet blocks mounted on rotating aluminium arms. The angle between the arms can be adjusted to any desired position and quickly locked in that position with an over-centre locking lever.  The centre axle features a graduated scale indicating the angle. The ‘Easy-Set’ welders magnetic clamp provides flexibility and ease of use with permanent magnets that turn on and off. This makes for quick set-ups and easy to clean magnets. Because the magnetic blocks feature flat and ‘v’ faces, both flat or round work-pieces may be clamped with a force of more than 20 kgs on flat steel. In addition, the magnetic blocks can be located at various positions on the arms, or blocks may be added for greater holding power. The centre axle features a graduated scale indicating the angle.
