Here’s a low cost lifting magnet system designed to lift thin steel sheet up to 3 metres in length for duties such as loading onto cutting tables. Easy-lift uses a modular array of permanent-electro magnets on a frame. The system is lightweight and can be easily transferred from one crane to another as the power supply is onboard. Permanent-electro lifting magnets require no battery back-up system. Using power only during activate and de-activate functions, Easy-lift is energy efficient and is suitable for sheets ranging from 1.6 to 16 mm thick.
